West Coast Babe

A highly anticipated Finn/Graham/Sealock family reunion recently occurred out in Seattle - thank you Jessie Graham for getting hitched and creating this opportunity to get to see everyone!

We were slightly nervous how Emma would handle flying cross country.  The sweet girl went easy on her parents and there were no awkward screaming moments.  In fact, she slept for almost three of the six hour long flight which meant her dad was able to sleep for two and a half hours :)  The girl loves a window seat and enjoyed the view of Mount Rainier during our descend.

Emma had her first hotel experience and loved it!  Hyatt set the bar high for traveling with a baby.  She enjoyed playing on the big bed and slept well in the crib. The three hour time change was a little tricky... Emma was ready to start the day at 4am and was not on her best behavior for the first couple evening get togethers but I believe her family was very understanding.

One of the first stops was Pike Place Market :)  We had lunch at the Pink Door and Emma experienced her first restaurant high chair - such a big girl!

Monstrously large lobster tails!

And every sort of fish you could ever want!  Emma missed the stinky fish for a good snooze :)

On Saturday morning we were able to swing by one of Patrick's and my favorite former stomping grounds - Top Pot Donut!

Then we headed over to the Iowa Alumni Game Watch in Queen Anne for the Iowa - Michigan St. game.  Definitely the place to be as there were approximately sixty other Iowans at the bar to cheer on the Hawks.  And goodness, what a game!

The Grahams threw a beautiful wedding and a great party! Tim performed a flawless and touching ceremony! Jessie and Charlie are a perfect couple! I REALLY wish I had more pictures of the Grahams and Sealock clans but I was preoccupied with keeping the youngest guest on her best behavior!  Hopefully I can snag a picture of the beautiful bride and handsome groom from someone!
