Jack Swanson takes on Boston!

The three of us are still recovering from a super fun visit from my nephew Jack and my parents.  During their short visit we crammed in a lot!!! Jack will be taking AP History this fall so what better way to get him started than by showing him where so much of it took place. We zipped all over Boston and made some fun road trips to Lexington, Concord, Salem, and Quincy.  Jack was such a trooper!  His least favorite part of the trip was taking pictures but here are some of the few that I managed to get away with!

Faneuil Hall

 Paul Revere's House

Old North Church behind Paul Revere

North Bridge in Concord

 USS Constitution

Patrick and I learned something new- John & Abigial Adams and John Quincy Adams and his wife Louisa Catherine are buried in Quincy, MA and you can go right into the family crypt! Holy cow, we were not expecting this!  I think John and Abigail Adams are two of the most impressive people I've read about (to say the least) so this was really incredible.

Jack also got his first taste of corporate life and ran the J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge with Patrick and team Citadel!

Go Dad, go!

Please note I've been training Emma for pointe class- look at that form already!

And no visitors ever leave us without a lobster dinner :)  This was Jack's favorite meal of course!

Thanks so much Grandma for watching this little one!  Fun times were had by all!
